PLUMBING TECHNOLOGY AND AIR-CONDITIONING
DESCRIPTION OF THE DEPARTMENT
Plumbing technology and air-conditioning is a department aiming to give education and adequacy to the branches under it.
AIM OF THE DEPARTMENT
The aim of the department is to train the qualified manpower needed at plumbing technolojy and air-conditioning sector.
THE PROGRAMME, DESCRİPTİON, AND AİM OF THE BRANCHES
. HEATING AND NATURAL GAS INNER INSTALLATION
It is a branch where the heating and natural gas installators are trained for installation and maintanance.
2. HEATING AND PLUMBING
It is a branch where the heating and plumbing installators are trained for installation and maintanance.
3.HEATING DEVICE AND GAS BURNERS (SERVICE)
It is a branche where the tainees are trained for maintaning the heating devices and gas burners.
4. COOLING SYSTEMS
It’s a branch where trainees are trained for installing and maintening cooling systems.
5. AIR-CODITIONING SYSTEMS
In this branch the trainees are trained for installing and maintaning the air-conditioning systems.
6.CENTRAL AIR-CONDITIONING AND VANTILLATING SYSTEMS
In this branchthe trainees are instructed for installing and maintaning central air-conditioning .
HOW TO BE ACCEPTED TO THE DEPARTMENT
The trainees must be in good health conditions in order to work in this department.

EDUCATION-INSTRUCTION MEDIUM AND EQUIPAGE
1. This department can be put into practice both at the vocational technical schools which give a diploma, or at every kind of formal and informal vocational-technical certification programmes.
2. In order to put this department into practice the standart vocational equipment has to be provided.
THE TRAINERS
1. The trainers should be well educated and preferably sectorally experienced in the related field.
2. Teachers,trainers and technichians in this field must be sectorally experienced.
MEASURING AND EVALUATION
The success is measured and evaluated both theoritically and practically according to the criteria of the ministry of national education
VERTİCAL AND HORIZONTAL TRANSFERS
Since the programme is organised comprehensively and modular, it is possible to tranfer vertically and horizontally in the frame of Vocational ,Technical Education Regulations
