DESCRIPTION OF THE FIELD

The field that training and education is given for bringing in adequacy of the branches exist in the area of electric- electronic technology.

OBJECTIVE OF THE FIELD

The objective is to train up well-qualified professional staff, who gained professional adequancies in accordance with the requirements of the sector and technologic improvements for the jobs in the scope of electric – electronic technology.

BRANCH PROGRAMS, DESCRIPTIONS AND OBJECTIVES

1. WINDING

Description : The field that training and education is given for bringing in adequacy that a winding man must have, such as maintenance and reparation of electric motors and transformers production.
Objective : To train up professional staff that have the adequacies of maintenance and reparation of several electric motors and transformers production.

2. OFFICE EQUIPMENTS TECHNICAL SERVICE

Description : The field that training and education is given for bringing in adequacy that an office equipments technical service staff must have, such as using photocopy, priport, fax machines, impact printers, cash registers, cash counter machines and also localizing mechanic and electric-electronic faults and fix them.
Objective : To train up professional staff that have the adequacies of using office equipments, localizing any faults, making maintenance and reparation.

3. WIRING AND PANEL ASSEMBLER

Description : The field that training and education is given for bringing in adequacy that a wiring staff and panel assembler must have, such as all indoor and outdoor wiring works, fitting all electrical panels, maintenance and reparation of them.
Objective : To train up professional staff that have the adequacies of making all indoor and outdoor wiring works, fitting all electrical panels, maintenance and reparation of them in electric – electrionic sector.

4. ELECTRIC – POWERED HOUSEHOLD GADGETS TECHNICAL SERVICE

Description : The field that training and education is given for bringing in adequacy that an electric – powered household gadgets technical service staff must have, such as cooling, heating, cooking, cleaning, personal care equipments in houses and offices. Also maintenance, reparation and assembly of them.
Objective : To train up professional staff that have the adequacies of maintenance, reparation and assembly of cooling, heating, cooking, cleaning and personal care equipments.

5. ELECTROMECHANIC TRANSPORTERS MAINTENANCE AND REPARATION

Description : The field that training and education is given for bringing in adequacy that an electromechanic transporters maintenance and reparation staff must have, such as elevator, escalator, travelator, crane which is able to trasport any alive and not alive materials horizontally and vertically in indoors and outdoors.
Objective : In electric – electronic sector, to train up professional staff that have the adequacies of maintenance and reparation of elevator, escalator, travelator, crane which is able to trasport any alive and not alive materials horizontally and vertically in indoors and outdoors.

6. INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE AND REPARATION

Description : The field that training and education is given for bringing in adequacy that an industrial maintenance and reparation staff must have, such as maintenance and reparation of systems in factories and workshops.
Objective : To train up professional staff that have the adequacies of maintenance and reparation of electronic systems in factoris and workshops.

7. VISUAL AND AUDIO SYSTEMS

Description : The field that training and education is given for bringing in adequacy that a visual and audio systems service staff must have, such as mounting, maintenance and reparation of lighting systems.
Objective : To train up professional staff that have the adequacies of setting up, maintenance and reparation of visual, audio and lighting systems.

8. SECURITY SYSTEMS

Description : The field that training and education is given for bringing in adequacy that a security systems service staff must have, such as all applications about fire perception, CCTV (closed circuit TV), robbery alarm, passing control systems.
Objective: To train up professional staff that have the adequacies of fire perception in buildings, setting, maintenance and reparation of CCTV (closed circuit TV), robbery alarm and passing control systems.

9. COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS

Description : The field that training and education is given for bringing in adequacy that a communication systems service staff must have, such as maintenance and reparation of mobile communication gadgets, cabled communication gadgets, satellite and local antenna systems.
Objective: To train up professional staff that have the adequacies of communication systems branch of electric – electronic sector.

10. AUTOMATION SYSTEMS

Description : The field that training and education is given for bringing in adequacy that a automation systems service staff must have, such as maintenance and reparation of automatic remote control, hydrolic – pneumatic, PLC, servo motors, robotic arms, micro controllers and scada systems.
Objective: To train up professional staff that have the adequacies of automation systems in electric – electronic sector.

11. HIGH VOLTAGE SYSTEMS

Description : The field that training and education is given for bringing in adequacy that a high voltage systems service staff must have, such as setting up, maintenance and reparation of transmission, distrubition and security systems of high voltage formations.
Objective: To train up professional staff that have the adequacies of setting up, maintenance and reparation of high voltage systems safely in electric – electronic sector.

CONDITIONS FOR ENTRY

Students’ state of health must be good enough to execute the works that have to be done in electric – electronic technology field.

AREAS OF EMPLOYMENT

In accordance with the branch, the students graduated from electric – electronic technology field can work at these places:
1. Electric machines wiring workshops,
2. Office equipments technical services,
3. As an electric installer,
4. Electric panel workshops,
5. Elevator and escalator technical services,
6. White goods technical services,
7. Security systems technical services,
8. Tv and radio reparation workshops,
9. Vocalization and lighting systems technical services,
10.In industrial factories and workshops,
11. In high voltage project contactor companies,
12. Electric installation Project contactor companies, etc.

TRAINING AND EDUCATION FIELDS AND EQUIPMENTS

1. This program is executed in all kind and level of formal / common proffessional and technical educational establishments, where certificate programs are applied and also in secondary schools, which a diploma is given.
2. To execute the program, Standard equipments of electric – electronic technology field and the gadgets necessary for doing the related works must be provided.

EDUCATORS

1. For executing the program, the teachers, who trained in electric – electronic technology field and preferably the ones, whos have expreiments in the sector must serve.
2. For executing the progman, if necessary, it can be benefited from adepts, technicians and professional job members.

MENSURATION AND EVALUATION

It is a principal cause that evaluating students by using various mensuration methods in accordance with Ministry of Education’s secondary school going up spout and examination regulations. In this context;
1. The adequacies gained in apllication of modules of lessons (knowledge, skills and attitudes) are defined.
2. Students’ success in lessons are defined evaluating all their educational activities in school, operation and the works that they do by theirselves.

HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL CHANGE OVER

As the program is arranged on wide base and with a moduler structure, horizontal and vertical change over is possible in tha frame of professional and technical educational regulation.
1. Change over between each program and branch that a certificate, document or diploma is given, is possible.
2. Each student, who is qualified with diploma, can make transition to a program that is the serial of motorized electric – electronic technology field or vocational high schools without taking an examination. Students also can prefer to attend other higher educational establishments.

CERTIFICATION

1. A diploma in related branch is given to graduated students.
2. All lessons and modules that students take related to chosen branch are defined on appendix of diploma.
3. After graduation or leaving from the program, a certificate that shows the gained adequacies is given to student.
4. The professional adequacies that students gained are evaluated in certificate oriented documentations.

EDUCATION TIME

1. Total education time of the program is 3 years after 9th class.
2. The distribution of education time as school, operation and individual learning, is applied as it is explained in weekly lesson chart, lessons and modules of electric-electronic technology field.

Modular education oriented methods and technics, which support mostly self learning, are applied.
1. Teachers guides students.
2. Students are encouraged for self-learning.
3. Students are forced to be more active.
4. Students are encouraged for searching.
5. Students can make self-evaluation.
6. Methods and technics that is useful for bringing in efficiency to students are applied.

ASSOCIATIONS AND ENTERPRISES TO COOPERATE

Students are directed by cooperation with education activities of the program, employment fields and planning, univercities, non-governmental organisations, electric- electronic companies, the establishments where electric-electronic systems are set up and repaired and other job members.

By the end of the program, in accordance with the branch / job, the students:
1. Will gain the field’s mutual knowledge and skills.

3. Will have the ability of doing the works that are necessary for his / her branch.

TRAINING AND EDUCATION ACTIVITIES

Training and education is applied in accordance with the lessons in weekly lesson chart of electric- electronic technology field and the modules under the scope of these lessons.
