COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY
THE DEFINITION OF THE DEPARTMENT
It is a department which gives education on gaining adequacy about informatics technology.
THE AIM OF THE DEPARTMENT
It is aimed to educate skilled staff who has the Professional adequacyabout the sector’s needs and technological advances, on the branches of informatics technology.
BRANCH PROGRAMMES,DEFINITIONS AND AIMS
1. COMPUTER TECNİCAL SERVICE
Definition: It is the branch which gives education about the hardware of computer systems , eradication of failure problems,and upkeep, and the systems that can be controlled by computers. Aim: It is aimed to educate technical staff with edaquacy on the the hardware and software uf computer systems, eradication of failure programmes and who are able to make control system circuits.
2. NET OPERATING
Definition: It is the branch which gives education on the settlement of hardware and software of computer systems, settlement of net systems, their management and about problems likeliy to appear on network. Aim: Iı is aimed to raise Professional people who are adequate enough to direct large network systems anda re able to setle , manage them and able to solve the problems likeliy to appear on network.
3. DATA BASE PROGRAMMING
Definition: It is the branch that gives education on hardware and software of computer systems settlement of database and programming language, formation of database and its management, improving software,eradication of failure, upkeep and taking back up copy. Aims: It is aimed to educate technical staff who are adequate enough on the hardware and software of computer systems, settlement of database and programming language, formation of database and its management, improving software, eradication of failure, upkeep and taking backup copy.
4. WEB PROGRAMMING
Definion : It is the branch that gives education both on hardware and software of computer systems and conception of webpage and preparing web appliences with the help of programming languages. Aim: It is aimed to educate technical staff who are adequate both on hardware and software of computer systems and the conception of webpage and preparing web appliences with the help of programming languages.
ENTRANCE CONDITIONS
The health conditions of the students of the students should be approprite to do all the jobs under the headline of informatics technology.
EMPLOYMENT SECTORS
The studentswho are graduated from the department , through their adequacy may work in:
1. computer firms giving technical service
2. public institutions or firms that give service on net hardware and its management
3. public instititons or firms that need services about database programmes.
4. public inst. Or firms that has service about program managingon web pages.
EDUCATION PLACES AND ITS HARDWARE
1. The program is applicable in high schools which gives graduationdegree about proffessional and technical education and in formal education institutions which has a certificate programme.
2. In order the programme to be applicable, standart hardwares in Informatics technology department and the equipments about the profession are needed.
TRAINERS
1. Teachers who are trained in Informatics Technology department and who have experience should be in position.2. A master student or a technician or any other Professional people who have experience may be used in order to apply the programme in the inf. Technology department.
MEASURING AND EVALUATION
The success is measured and evaluated both therically and practically according to the criteria of the Ministry of National Education.
1. The edaquacy ( information , behaviours) which is gained throughout the class.
2. Students success in school , administrating and self study is evaluated.
VERTİCAL AND HORIZONTAL TRANSFERS
Since the programme is organized comprehensively and modular , it is possible to transfer vertically and horizantally in the frame of Vocational Technical Eduaction Regulations.
1. The students can transfer to the other programmes and branches that lead to the certificates and diplomas.
2. The students who get diplomas can attend related field further which permits transfer without having an exam or they can prefer the university degree education with an exam.
CERTIFICATION
1. Students are given a diploma after graduation.
2. All the lessons and moduls are stated in the appendix of the diplomas.
3. When the students graduate or drop out, they are given a certificate showing the competence of the education gained.
4. The vocational competencies are evaluated in the certification.
